About My Work

Hi, I’m Maddy! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (#143458).

I’m a Queer, trauma- informed therapist, and I use EMDR, Somatic therapy and mindfulness to help my clients heal.

As a clinician, I see “problems” like addictions, eating disorders and anxiety as maladaptive but often necessary coping mechanisms that developed to survive trauma.

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients reconnect to forgotten parts of themselves. I’m a creative person myself and spend much of my free time singing, writing and painting.

I believe in our core, we are all joyful, creative, playful and interconnected. Sometimes we need a safe space to help us come home to who we already are.
